ASHER

ASHER
By Jo Raven

About the book:

Now eighteen, Audrey returns to her home town for the first time after the accident – the car crash that took her dad and scarred her for life. She’s here to start again. Go to college and have fun. Make new friends. Get over the past.
But the past won’t let go. Asher is here – her first kiss, her first heartbreak. More handsome and distant than ever, he’s still the boy who used to be her best friend. That was before he changed into someone she hardly knows anymore – the boy who started getting into fights and gave her the cold shoulder for years.
Asher isn’t what she needs. In fact, she hates him and should try her best to keep away from him.
Yet her body doesn’t seem to care about how she feels, and maybe, just maybe this time her body got it right. Not that she has much of a choice. Asher draws her like a bright flame, and if she isn’t careful, she’ll burn.
And that may not be such a bad thing after all...

This is New Adult erotic romance, dual POV.
******Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and violence. Mature readers only. Not intended for young adult readers.***

My Review:

Wow. This book was amazing. The story was emotional and intense. I hardly put it down today.
It's different nowadays to find a book that focuses more on the problems of a bloke then the female. Asher had a hard life, I can't fathom anyone ever going through what he did.
Amazing Read!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Also, there is a prequel to Asher....

Kiss Me Goodbye.

About The book:

At fourteen, Audrey has the perfect life: great parents, great buddies, and her best friend, Asher. Only lately Asher has begun to change. He seems distant and standoffish, ignoring Audrey. And worst of all, not all changes are bad. He’s growing from a pretty boy into a handsome man, and Audrey is all too aware of that. But if they cross the line from friends to something more, will things stay the same or will she lose her best friend forever?

This is the prequel to ASHER (Inked Brotherhood, #1). It is a short story and it tells the events that led to Audrey and Asher's first fallout when they were fourteen.
No sex.

My Review:

a great little read about asher and audrey's relationship before "asher" the actual book. broke my heart poor audrey but after reading asher its doesnt reallt matter.
great read though :)

Even though this book is only 20 pages long, it's still a captivating read!
I recommend both these books to anyone interested in Contemporary Romance and the like :)
